Managing sewerage networks using both failure modes, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methods

This paper proposes a methodology for managing complex sewerage networks based on the concomitant use of two performance evaluation methods, namely, failure modes, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA) analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The FMECA is used to determine risks structural failures making it possible establish these failures. AHP check relationship consistency between indicators allowing determination overall (OP). proposed was utilized urban network Oued-Kniss in city Algiers, Algeria, as part efforts engaged sustainable efficient management.
